Founder and owner Americo Garcia (also known as internationally recognized Producer/DJ Boombox Cartel), felt there weren’t enough ‘back to basics’ hot sauces on the market. He grew up in both Laredo, Texas and Monterrey, Mexico, where snack culture is taken very seriously, and hot sauces run through people's veins. After moving to Los Angeles in 2014, he couldn’t seem to find the right hot sauce that reminded him of home so he decided to take matters into his own hands and create his own sauce. He had originally made it for himself to take along while touring, but when he shared it with his team and music industry friends they loved it so much that he decided to make it available for the masses. After months of taste testing and fine tuning, Don Fuego was born.
